Customize The Navigation Menu on Community Homepage

This tutorial guides you through customizing the community navigation bar in Ideawake.

1. Open Navigation Options

Click on the gear icon in the right hand corner.

2. Open Community Settings

Navigate and click on "Community Settings" from the drop down menu to access the configuration area for your community features.

3. Select Customize Navigation

Next, Click on "Customize Navigation".

You will then land on the Community Navigation Settings Page

5. Add New Pages to Navigation

This section displays all the different pages you can add to the menu bar that currently are not displayed.

6. Select Dashboard Page

To add a a page, simply click the check box of the page you wish to add to the menu bar

7. Proceed to Visibility Settings

The new page will move under the active pages section.

You can click on the edit button to update the visibility settings and or to rename the active page title.

9. Open Visibility Settings

Additional settings will appear where you can select who can view this tab based on role or by group.

10. Disable Page Visibility

You can also make a specific tab the default homepage by clicking the enabled button for this setting type.

11. Removing a Navigation Tab

You can delete a tab from the menu bar by clicking the trash can icon located next to that page card.

12. Save Navigation Changes

Click the "Save Changes"button when ready.
