Change Stage of an Idea
*Note: You must be an administrator or moderator to perform this action
There are multiple ways to change the stage of an idea. This can be done in multiple locations including the submission pop-up, the pipeline page and from the table list view where one or multiple submissions can be bulk updated.
Option 1: Update stage for a single idea
Go to the challenge you'd like to change the assignees for an idea by clicking on the title.
Select the idea you would like to update the assignees for
A pop-up will appear for that idea. Click on 'change stage' in the top right corner
A drop-down will appear. Select the stage you want to update the stage to.
A pop-up will appear. Click save changes once your item is selected.
Option 2: Change stage of an idea from the ideas list page.
Click on the 'ideas' button on the top menu bar
This will open up the table list view of all your ideas.
Check the box next to the idea you would like to update the stage for. This will then bring up a menu where you can click 'change stage' button
Select the stage you would like to change the idea to
A pop-up will appear. Click save changes when ready.
Option 3: Change multiple ideas from table view page
Follow same steps as above, and instead select multiple ideas you'd like to change the stage for.
Option 4: Change stage of an idea from pipeline view
Go to the table list view and click the 3 vertical lines to switch to the pipeline view.
Selct the workflow you'd like to make stage changes to from the list
A pipeline view will appear. Drag and drop the ideas you'd like to change the stage for. Be sure to drop them in the correct stage
The stage will automatically be updated once it is placed in a different column
