Delete an Idea

This tutorial guides you through managing and deleting ideas within the Ideawake platform.

1. Access Open Ideas Status

There are two ways you can delete ideas.

2. Open Quick Wins Idea Category

Option 1: Click on the challenge title where the idea you wish to delete is located.

3. Open Actions Menu

Locate the idea you wish to delete. Click on "Actions" in the right hand corner of the idea card.

4. Select Delete Idea Option

Click on "Delete Idea" from the drop down men to initiate the removal process for the current idea.

5. Confirm Idea Deletion

A pop-up will appear. Click on the "Yes, Delete This Idea" button to confirm and permanently delete the selected idea.

6. Browse Ideas Section

Option 2: Click on the "BROWSE IDEA" tab.

7. Access Idea Selection

Click on the empty check box to select the idea you wish to delete.

8. Enter Filter Criteria

Fill "on" to filter or search ideas based on the specified criteria.

9. Select Idea for Deletion

A menu bar will appear. Click on the delete button.

10. Confirm Multiple Idea Deletion

A pop-up will appear. Click the "Yes, Delete" button to confirm and delete the selected idea(s) permanently. Note, if you accidentally delete an idea, reach out to your customer success rep and they will begin the process to recover the idea.
