Add Refinement Stage
This tutorial guides you on How To Create Refinement Stage
1. Open Workflow Management
Select "Manage Workflows" from the drop down menu to open the workflow management section and view existing workflows.
2. Click on Workflow Title
Click on the title of the workflow you would like to add a refinement stage to
3. Add Workflow Stage
Click the "Add Stage" button
4. Choose Refinement Action
Click on "Refinement" to designate this stage for refining ideas within your workflow.
5. Set Refine Ideas Action
Give your stage at title such as 'additional information'.
6. Create New Field
Click create new field to begin building the fields you would like to be completed in this stage.
7. Select Field Type
Begin creating your fields.For example, Click "Single Select" to define the new field as a single-choice selection for user responses.
8. Name Custom Field
Give the field a title.
9. Remove Default Option
and add your response types.
10. Make Required Field (optional)
Click "Disabled" to make this field required.
11. Enable Response Option
The toggle button ill turn green
12. Finalize Custom Field
Click on the "Create Custom Field" button to save the new field and include it in the workflow stage.
13. Assign Stage Completion
Navigate to the assignee settings section and select who will be responsible to complete for this workflow stage.
14. Configure Assignment Settings
Configure your assignment settings such as putting a time limit on the stage as well as enabling notifications and email reminders to reduce delays.
15. Set Completion Criteria
Here you can select if the stage will be marked complete only if all fields are completed or if a certain number of fields are completed.
16. Configure Notifications
Update settings to set who will receive a notification when an idea enters this stage.
17. Create Workflow Stage
When ready click the "Create Stage" button to create your refinement stage. Note, you can make changes at any time after the stage is created.
